NHDR 2020

The United Nations Development Programme publishes National Human Development Reports combining research, data, and policy recommendations on development themes. I led design for Pakistan's NHDR 2020, creating comprehensive visual systems, data visualizations, and editorial layouts for this flagship publication.

Process

Building on my NHDR 2017 experience, I developed an evolved visual identity and design system, translating complex socioeconomic research into compelling data visualizations. The design enhanced readability and accessibility, making development insights actionable for diverse stakeholders.

Impact

The 2020 report provided critical insights during a pivotal year for Pakistan's development agenda. Clear visual communication enabled policymakers, donors, and civil society to quickly grasp key findings, supporting evidence-based policy decisions and resource allocation.
