NHDR 2017

The United Nations Development Programme publishes National Human Development Reports combining research, data, and policy recommendations on critical development themes. I led design for Pakistan's NHDR 2017, creating comprehensive visual systems, data visualizations, and editorial layouts for this flagship publication.

Process

I developed a cohesive visual identity and design system for the report, translating complex research and statistical data into accessible, engaging visualizations. The layout balanced comprehensive information with readability, ensuring policy recommendations were clearly communicated to government stakeholders and development organizations.

Impact

The report became a critical reference document for Pakistan's development policy discussions. Clear data visualization and thoughtful design made complex human development indicators accessible to policymakers, international organizations, and civil society, influencing national development strategies and conversations.
